Why a Loft Conversion?
The need for greater living space is often quoted as the deciding factor on choosing a loft conversion. There are real economic benefits in deciding not to move but add to the quality of home life by undertaking a project such as a loft conversion.
It is calculated that a loft conversion costs on average £100 per square foot and can add almost 20% to the value of a 3 bed roomed one bathroom house. A loft conversion will not eat into valuable garden space and is only a 1/3rd of the cost of developing the basement.
Phil Spencer, of location location has recently been quoted as saying "It is easier to build space than buy it". The loft conversion maximises the living space for your home.

Dormers can often be constructed without requiring planning permission and are often suitable for semi-detached and terraced houses.
The size of the Dormer can vary if it needs to remain in keeping with the property and where a flat roof is not acceptable to the aesthetics of the house.
This Dormer loft conversion is very popular throughout, N, W & SW London - Battersea, Fulham, Hammersmith, Richmond, Twickenham, Wandsworth and Wimbledon.
Hip to Gable Loft Conversions

The sloping roof ‘hipped’ part at the end of the house can be converted to a flat ‘gable’ end. This may depending on the layout, can create a bigger loft room and space.
Usually planning permission is not required.
